The investigation of the usage of Bitlis region pumice stone together with perlite in insulation screeds

In this thesis, the investigation of the use of pumice stone of Bitlis region with perlite was investigated in insulation screeds. with Pumice stone, perlite and chemical additives screed mixtures are designed. In addition to 6 screed varieties with different mix ratios and contents containing pumice stone and perlite, classical sandy and modernized sandy screed samples were created in two different contents, which are frequently used today. Engineering properties were determined by applying fresh and dry unit weight test, ultrasonic sound permeability test, compressive strength test, relative porosity, high temperature, thermal permeability tests to 8 screed varieties. It has been understood that compared to the screeds and control samples used in the market, with pumice stone and perlite screed production offer more good engineering advantages and screed production is possible with these two materials.
