Evaluation of building entrances within the context of indoor and exterior: The example of Zaha Hadid buildings

The first place that users encounter, both indoors and outdoors, is the building entrances. Therefore, the entrances are one of the most important transition spaces that reflect the quality of the building and provide the first ideas about the building. The aim of the thesis is to reveal the importance of the entrances for the building within the scope of indoor and outdoor space and to determine the factors affecting its design. In this direction, Zaha Hadid Architect's buildings, which were deemed worthy of many awards, were discussed in the study. The place of entrance spaces has been questioned in the success of Zaha Hadid Architect's buildings. The general information part of the study, which consists of five parts, focuses on the relationship between indoor and outdoor space. The importance of transition spaces and entrance spaces was emphasized. Within the scope of indoor and outdoor; The physical and psychological factors affecting the design of entrance and entrance spaces are mentioned. In the section of the studies carried out, the methods and techniques of the research, determination of the sample group and limitations are mentioned. In the findings section of the study, the entrance spaces of the buildings designed by Zaha Hadid Architect's, which were determined as the sample group; It has been analyzed with the help of photography and architectural projects (plan, section, view, perspective) within the scope of indoor-outdoor space. In the analysis part, the data obtained from the sample group were evaluated comparatively. In the conclusion part, the analyzes made are evaluated and suggestions for future studies are given.
