Abstract (EN)
In this study, a new P&O type maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm which is use extraterrestrial irradiance is designed. The algorithm has a simple form and it is not required complex photovoltaic panel (PV) models and mathematical calculation methods. The proposed P&O and traditional P&O algorithms are tested in a platform designed on MATLAB/Simulink. In this tests, it is determined that even though the proposed P&O algorithm is run small perturbation, its' MPP catch time is less than traditional P&O algorithm. To the proposed P&O algorithm can be run for small perturbation, high energy efficiency is obtained because of decreasing power losses. In addition to the proposed P&O algorithm can be reached global MPP in case of partial shading on PV panel.
