Abstract (EN)
With the social changes took place in the United States and in Western Europe after the 1970s the nature of Social movements has changed as well. A major shift occurred in this period; the change occurred from conventional social movements based on class struggle to New Social Movement based on post-materialist values system. In terms of the nature of the actors New social movements are different from the old movement actors. With this study we have revisited the Bergama Anti Gold Mine protest, after ten years, and aimed to understand the perceptions of protestors through their eyes.
