Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of this research, various storage systems are investigated and the most efficient, cost-effective and least environmentally harmful hybrid storage method for renewable energy sources is proposed. Existing energy storage systems were evaluated. The technical and economic requirements for the implementation of storage systems in renewable energy power plants are analyzed, the hybridization criteria required to increase efficiency and the applications of existing storage systems are given. In order to optimize the dimensioned system, the parameters of the system components were iteratively searched in accordance with the defined criteria and fixed data using an optimization algorithm. These parameters were defined by the optimization algorithm, and it was observed that they changed throughout the simulation process. Iterations continued until a significant change in the variable values occurred and the system reached its most optimal point. All optimization processes and calculations were performed using MATLAB software.
