Abstract (EN)
The increasing population, rapid industrialization, and technological advancements have brought the sustainability of current energy sources into focus. Effective utilization of these resources and energy efficiency have become important topics for both societies and economies. In this context, the use and investment in renewable energy sources today are crucial for minimizing the effects of climate change, ensuring environmental sustainability, reducing external dependency, lowering energy costs, enhancing competitiveness, and increasing energy independence. This study comparatively evaluates tax incentives for renewable energy investments in Turkey and Germany. The development of renewable energy policies and the effectiveness of current tax incentive systems in both countries are examined. While Turkey offers various tax incentives to boost investments in renewable energy, Germany's incentives are more comprehensive and based on long-term strategies. The study develops recommendations for enhancing Turkey's renewable energy investments and improving its energy policies by comparing the incentive policies of both countries. Keywords: Renewable Energy Investments, Tax Incentives, Germany, Turkey.
