Investigation of sport policies of local governments(Sample of Manisa metropolitan Municipality)

The purpose of this research; aiming to determine the deficiencies in the field of sports management and sports policies and to make suggestions for the elimination of these deficiencies in terms of the laws, legislations and the duties of the constitution given by the local governments within the scope of disseminating sports to the masses. And at the same time, to contribute to the implementation of sports services by creating a functioning sports policy to eliminate other elements that are thought to be missing in local governments. Local governments, which are in constant contact with the public and easily accessible to the public, by following a properly functioning sport service policy, leading to the spread of general branch, amateur and professional sports, encouraging the public to the sport and ensuring the spread of the sport to the public base, as well as it has been tried to explain relationship with sport, within the framework of laws and regulations. And in the last part, by giving information about the activities and projects of local governments in Manisa province, it is aimed to play an important role in this way by trying to determine their contribution to sports. In this research, the sports policies of local governments (Sample of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality) will be a qualitative research. Qualitative research; It is possible to define qualitative data collection methods such as observation, interview and document analysis, and to follow a qualitative process in order to present perceptions and events in a realistic and holistic manner in the natural environment. Phenomenology, which is one of the qualitative research methods, will be used as research design. Phenomenology focuses on cases that we are aware of but do not have in-depth and detailed understanding of. Study group of the research: As the data collection method, "interview" approach and "face to face interview method" will be used in this approach. Interviews will be conducted using voice recorders and note-taking methods. The interview questions used in the research will be formed by the open-ended question method and the content analysis and descriptive data analysis method will be used in the analysis part.
