Abstract (EN)
In this study; Comparative evaluation of antioxidant, antimicrobial and anticancer activities of iron nanoparticle by green synthesis method using honey extract was made. In addition, the structural, morphological and optical properties of these NPs were characterized using UV-Vis, FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDX and Zeta potentials. Afterwards, DPPH, ABTS, metal chelating activity and total antioxidant capacity and antioxidant activities were evaluated. At the same time, the total phenolic and flavonoid contents of honey were determined and the phenolic and flavonoid components of the honey extract bound to the iron nanoparticle obtained by green synthesis were quantitatively compared. In antimicrobial activity, its effectiveness was investigated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC 76521, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 Gram (-), Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 35150 Gram (+), Candida Albicans microorganisms. In the evaluation of anticancer activity, its effectiveness on the A549 lung cancer cell line was examined. Keywords: Honey, green synthesis iron nanoparticle, anticancer, antimicrobial.
