Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of the research is to explain whether psychological resilience has the intermediary role in the relationship between perfectionism and psychological well-being in adults or not. Also, perfectionism, psychological well-being, psychological resilience and layout (Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Layout Subscale) levels of adults are aimed to be analyzed the discrepancy they indicate according to age, gender, educational level and marital status. To the research, adults aged 18 and older who dwell in Niğde and who were selected with the method of snowball sampling have participated. As data collection tool in adults, Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (FMPS), Connor-David Psychological Resilience Scale Short Form (CDRISC-SF), Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) and Personal Knowledge Form prepared by the researcher were used. In the phase of data processing, the program of social sciences data analysis was used, and it was benefited from Pearson moments multiplying correlation coefficient, simple linear regression and YEM-bootstrap analyses. The research findings show that there is no meaningful relationship between perfectionism and psychological resilience or psychological well-being, but there is a statistically meaningful relationship between psychological well-being and psychological resilience. Moreover, another result obtained from research is that there is, also, a meaningful relationship between layout subscale, psychological resilience and psychological well-being. Psychological resilience in intermediacy model has no intermediary role in the relationship between perfectionism and psychological well-being. In the other intermediacy model, it is seen that psychological resilience plays an intermediary role in the relationship between layout subscale and psychological well-being. Findings are discussed in the light of relevant field and institutional framework, and some suggestions are made.
