Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to determine the fruit fly species distributed in Yozgat province. In the study, a total of 983 fruit fly samples were collected from Yozgat province between 2015-2018. Samples were collected by insect net from possible host plants and killed in ethyl acetate killing jars. The obtained fruit flies were brought to the laboratory and peraparated and made ready for the identification of the species. As a result of identification, 12 species and 38 species were determined from 3 subfamilies (Myopitinae, Tephritinae and Terellinae) of the Tephritidae family. Identification keys for subfamily, genus and species have been prepared for the fruit fly species determined in Yozgat province. Also, morphological descriptions were made for each species and adult, wing, and aculeus photographs of the species were presented. Results of this study will be an important source to the next studies.
