Investigation of the relationship between the spiritual well-being of generation Z youth, domestic communication styles and God perceptions

This research is about the spiritual well-being, family relationships and perception of God of Generation Z. The main purpose of the research is to examine whether the spiritual well-being level of Generation Z differs according to variables such as family communication styles and God perception, and to offer solution suggestions appropriate to the results. The population of the research consists of Generation Z participants born in 2000 and later. The sample of the research was formed by simple random sampling of 331 (250 female, 81 male) participants from the population on a voluntary basis. Data from Generation Z who participated in the research were collected by applying the "Personal Information Form", "Perception of God Scale", "Spiritual Indicator of Well-Being Scale" and "Family Climate Scale". The research was carried out in two stages. In the first stage of the research, the perception of God and spiritual well-being of Generation Z young people and their levels of family communication styles were revealed. It was determined through various statistical procedures whether the participants' communication styles, perception of God and spiritual well-being levels differed. In addition, the participants' gender, age, education level, income status and employment status were examined in the personal information form. In the second stage of the research, the correlation between the perception of God and spiritual well-being scales and the correlation between the sub-dimensions of both scales were examined.
