Abstract (EN)
The fast progress of the Internet of Things (IoT), has made life easier and simpler in all aspects. Nowadays internet of things widely used around the world, most people prefer the automatic systems over the traditional manual systems. The Internet of Things aims to make things to be connected with anyone, anything, at anywhere and anytime in a perfectly, using any network, path, and any service. Internet of Things has many great applications which purpose is to improve the quality of people's daily life and have a clearly impact on the economy and society. One of the best and most important and effective internet of things applications is smart home or home automation systems, the number of people searching for smart homes always increases, also more companies are now interested in providing smart homes services. The purpose of the proposed project is to develop a home automation system using ZigBee and IOT technology to control and monitor the home remotely in real time, as well as used Raspberry Pi to acts as a responsible server to connect the system with the cloud, also for monitor and control the system. In additional, the system proposed provides the necessary protection to house for fire detection and alarm when there is a gas or smoke leak, and monitor if the current is stable or high, and voltage is low or high of the home.It has been observed that the system designed according to the results of the experimental study successfully performs real-time monitoring and control from all over the world through Web and Android-based applications.
