Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to examine the change of the tread created by the tire on the ground with pressure, load and rim effect in advanced flexibility (IF Improved Flexion) and very high flexibility (VF Very High Flexion) tires used in the agricultural field. The change of treads of two selected tires under the influence of tire load, tire pressure and tire usage rim was examined. The advantages of advanced flexibility (IFImproved Flexion) and very high flexibility (VF-Very High Flexion) tire technology such as wider footprint, higher carrying capacity and fuel economy have been the subject of studies. In this study, the tread width and tread length values of the tires were measured under different pressure values of 12psi, 17psi, 23psi, 29psi, 35psi, 4250kg and 5150kg load using three different types of rims W18, DW20, DW21. In another stage of the study, deflection measurements were made on two different rims W18, DW21 under different pressure values of 12psi, 17psi, 23psi, 29psi, 35psi. It has been determined that the deflection value increases as the amount of load applied to the tire increases. It has been found that there is an increase in the length of the tread as the amount of tire pressure decreases. It has been observed that the rim used in the tires has a limited effect on the tread width value. Key Words: Improved flexibility (IF-Improved Flexion), Very high flexibility (VF-Very High Flexibility), Tire foot print, Pressure, Load, Rim
