Yüksek LisansDOIAçık ErişimTURKISH Increasing the fertilization yield of trout eggs
In this study, four different fertilization methods were tested in order to
increase the fertilization rate and determine the best fertilization method for trout
eggs . The experiment was carried out in 4 different treatment groups with 3
replicates for each. The fertilization of eggs were performed with diluting solution
“SS” (125 mM NaCl, 20 mM Tris, 30 mM Glycin, 1 L of water), isotonic solution
“IS” (9.04 gr NaCl, 0.26 gr CaCl2, 0.24 gr KCl, 1 L of water), NaCO3 solution
(8,4 gr NaCO3, 1 L of water) and Classical method (KM) in related treatment
groups. At the end of the experiment, the fertilization rates, eyeing rates and the
effects of the solutions on sperm quality between groups were investigated; the
most efficient artificial fertilization method for trout eggs was aimed to determine.
The highest fertilization rates were obtained from the group “SS”
%99.23±0.14 (p<0,05) while the lowest rates were seen in the group “NaHCO3”
%89.98±1.44 (p<0,05). There were not found any significant differences in the
fertilization rates of the groups “KD”(%93.16±0.52) and “IS”
(%93.60±0.70)(p>0,05). The eyeing rates were resulted in the groups “SS”
%81.16±0.91, “IS” %75.35±1.43, “KD” %70.48±2.07 (p>0,05) ve “NaHCO3”
%60.24±0.52 respectively.
According to these results, the fertilization method performed with
“NaHCO3” was found deficient for the artificial fertilization and eyeing rates of
trout eggs; while the method “SS” was found the most efficient method to
increase the fertilization of trout eggs.
