Sepanta Naimi worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Irankhodro Ltd from 2001 to 2004. He held positions in various offices and branches. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey, and has served as the Chair of the Civil Engineering Department since August 2021. He was the Vice Chair of the Department from July 2019 to August 2021. From 2004 to 2013, he worked as a Research Assistant and Lecturer at Eastern Mediterranean University, contributing to the Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, General Education Departments, and the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research. Since October 2013, Dr. Naimi has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Aydin University. He specializes in Steel Structures within Civil Engineering and Die-Casting in Mechanical Engineering, and he is actively engaged in research. Currently, Dr. Naimi supervises over 100 postgraduate students. He serves as a reviewer for several journals listed in SCI and SCI-Expanded. His research interests include the behavior of steel-framed structures, the influence of steel beam-column connections on frame response, RBW connections, sustainability issues in structural engineering, building maintenance and repair, and die-casting.
