This study entitled: "Family protection in the holy Qur'an" (analytical and maqsid study) has includedanintroductorychapter and other three main chapters. During this study, the author has tried to figure out the importance of family in the holy Qur'an couple with the Qur'anic methodology in narrating family relationships, the author has also identified the rules that's been initiated by the lawgiver to building a stronger family relationship. In deed achieving a good a family is a determinant factor of having an educative society, also the success of those institutions depends on having a healthy society. The author has also tried to study and gather most of the rulings associated with family in the holy Qur'an, be it commands or instructions that are meant to protect the family formation and its safety. The summary of the research as follows: In introductory chapter, the research deliberated on the meaning of family in its lateral and formal Understanding. In the first chapter: The chapter concentrated on the family formation and structure, and discussed several verses that encouraged marriage and how to choose a sustainable life partner, and brought the relevant rules and regulations that will sustain the family formation and touches the wisdom behind the family formation in the Qur'an and that its protection as one of the Qur'an's top priorities. Chapter two, demonstrated on the rules that been brought before the marriage itself so as to make sure that the top priority is to protect the family formation such as the rules related had qazaf, istizan, hijab, prohibition of zina and its courses, prohibition of marriage between Muslim women with non-Muslim men. Chapter three is demonstrating on family protection after the formation, it discussed the family leadership which has been given to the men and not women, rulings on marriage withhold after divorce, and allowing two arbitrators from the family to adjudicate any quarrelproviding solutions for the family misunderstanding. The chapter also discussed some prohibitions during the marriage contract, such as the prohibition of thihar, rulings in ila' adl, and the prohibition of retaining wife after the final divorce. The research concluded with the most important areas of further studies and highlighted the research findings.
