Abstract (EN)
The Divan-ı Hümâyun was the highest decision-making institution of the Ottoman Empire. Political, social, legal and economic issues were discussed and settled here. Muhimme Notebooks are a kind of notebook as they are the notebooks in which the written copies of the judgments reached in the Divan-ı Hümayun are kept, and they are of particular interest to many research fields. These notebooks are important sources about the mutual relations and working methods between the administrative and military organs in the central and provincial organization of the Ottoman Empire. Muhimme Book No. 116, the transcription of which we have evaluated in this study, It belongs to the time of Ahmet III. (1703-1730). It includes decisions made in 1708-1709. (H.1120-1121) In the study, Divan-ı Hümayun, Muhimme Notebooks and general information is given about the events of Ahmet III. era. In addition to this, the shape and physical features of the examined book are also included.
