Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is making the translation into Latin characters and evaluation of all judgements in the Erzurum Province Ahkâm Provisions Books Numbered 19.The study consists of three parts. In its first part, there are the history of Erzurum province and the role of the province in the Ottoman administrative organization after giving information about the Tanzimat period Ottoman administrative organization. In the second part, the definition, development process, formal peculiarities, content of the ahkâm provisions book and the regions whose provisions book were kept were mentioned by giving information about the Ottoman archive and book system. Later, the evaluation of the Erzurum Province Ahkâm Provisions Books Numbered 19 was made in terms of records' form, diplomatic and language. In the third part, there are the summaries of the records being in the book and their translation into Latin characters as a full text.At the end of this study, in the light of the translated text, the important savings belonging to administrative, economical and social matters in the Erzurum province and its prefectures (sancak), sub-provinces (kaza), sub-districts (nahiye), and villages (köy) in the 19th century were determined.
