Abstract (EN)

Classical Turkish literature is a literature that contains the effects of centuries and its sources consist of rooted elements like itself. It is important to know how the materials in the poems are used in order to make sense of the content of the poems. One of the most notable of these materials is parables. The parables of the Prophet are mostly used as an element of simile for the praise of the beloved, and the poets have chosen to describe the qualities of the beloved with parables. While similes are used for the beauty of the beloved in some places in the parables of the Prophet, they are also used for features such as praise, advice, etc. The couplets identified in the divans were classified according to the parables and discussed under the appropriate parables. The sample couplets of the poets who have a large number of couplets related to the parables are included and the other couplets are indicated as an index at the end of the section where each prophet is discussed.
