The translati̇on of the 17th century prose Şehnâme [350a - 380b]

All of the book registered under the fixture number 6131 in the Central Library of İstanbul Universty is1778 pages. The book consists of 3 volumes. Each page consists of 25 lines and also there are miniatures in some pages. The text on which the work is being carried on participates in the first volume. The length of it is 39,the width is 24.5 and the thickness is 7.5. The book which doesn't have a feature as a word by word translation was completed in 1187 -date based on Hegira, in 1173 -date based on Chiristian Era. This thesis includes the pages 350a-380b of the manuscript. The aim of preparing this thesis is to introduce the prose translation of Sehname. In the introduction part of the thesis, there are informations about Firdevsi, Şehname, the translation of Şehname and the manuscript on which a work is carried on. In the text part, the page and the line numbers are given, the punctuation Marks are used according to comtemporary prose texts and it is arranged in the form of paragraphs. In the analysis part, the spelling qualities are shown and the sound and structure information is transferred by taking into consideration the characteristics of the era In the dictionary part, it is aimed to give the meaning af the word and compound forms in the book by preparing an index in the name of showing the word entity.
