The transcription and evaluation of Samsun Şerʻiyye Sicilis (Court registers) number 1771/1 sicili (H. 1288/m. 1871-1872)

Şerʻiyye registers created by official state officials are the first-hand source fort he examination and research of the Ottoman Empire in historical, legal, administrative, financial, religious and military fields from the 15 th century to the early 20 th century. The "Samsun Şerʻiyye Registry No.1771/1", which we worked on , was transcribed from the years H. 1288 ( M. 1871-1872) and analyzed the social, cultural, economic, religious and administrative issues in Samsun during the years when the registry was kept in line with the documents in the registry. The structure was tried to be evaluated. The microfilms of Samsun Sharia Registry No. 1771/1, which were transcribed ans evaluated, are located in the Ankara National Library Archive Department. The registry consists of 118 leaves and work was done the first 59 leaves.
