Abstract (EN)
This study aims to reveal how rüşdiye schools, a new educational institution in the Ottoman Empire, were opened, what was the purpose of their establishment, their development process, educational activities, curriculum, why they were established in the Syrian Province, missionary movements in the province and the situation of missionary schools.
