The evaluation and transcription of Trabzon Court Record numbered 1917 (H. 1161-1163/M. 1748-1750)

In this study, done evaluation and transcription of Court Record Numbered 1917 of Trabzon. The purpose of this evalution is to contribute to historical work of Ottoman Empire and one of her administrative unit Trabzon. The subject of the study consists of the records between H.1161-1163/M.1748-1750. It was tried to be enlightened social, cultural, political, economical and legal events of that period.This thesis, titled "The Evaluation and Transcription of Trabzon Court Record Numbered 1917 (H. 1161-1163/ M.1748-1750)" consists of an introduction and two main sections. The purpose and the method of the thesis was stated in the introduction part. After that informations were given about history of Trabzon and the sultan of that period Mahmud I. In the first part includes the features of court records and document types in the court. In the second part ıt was explained records and their contents, administrative divisions, important people in the record, architectural works and occupation groups. And notebooks numbered 1916 and 1917 was compared each other. The last part of the court finishes with the appendix. In the appendix part the transcription of the court numbered 1917 is placed.
