Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of various plant growth regulators on shoot length and shoot number of some Vaccinium corymbosum L. sub-species (Bluecrop, Chandler. Patriot, Toro) were investigated in vitro. After the pre-sterilization process by washing the node explants with lateral buds used as explant source under tap water for 30 minutes, surface sterilization at different times with 70% ethyl alcohol and 0.75% commercial sodium hypochlorite (containing 10% NaOCl) operation has been performed. Node explants were cultured for shoot regeneration in Woody Plant Medium (WPM) medium containing different concentrations of 2-isopentyladenine (2-İP) and zeatin (ZEA). After shoot regeneration, for shoot propagation, they were taken in WPM medium containing plant growth regulators 2-isopentladenine (2-İP) and zeatin in different concentrations and combinations, and in a culture room with 16 hours light / 8 hours dark at 24±2 ˚C. Shoot formation was observed at certain intervals and shoot length and shoot number were recorded. The data were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA). The highest shoot number compared to the control was 52.60 ± 6.18b in the Chandler cultivar in WPM medium containing 5 mg L-1 2-IP. The highest shoot length compared to the control was obtained 55.78 ± 3.41b in the Toro cultivar in WPM medium containing 1 mg L-1 Zeatin.
