Identification of the educational philosophies adopted in the 2018 and 2024 5th grade science curriculum and they are based on thephilosophical foundations

Philosophy guides which information should be taught in education, which methods to be used, which values of education, and to the preparation of educational programs and to achieve the purpose of the learning process.In this study, it is aimed to determine the educational philosophies adopted in the gains/ learning outcomes found in 2018 and 2024 5th Class Science Curriculum and the philosophical foundations on which they are based.The study was conducted by document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods.2018 and 2024 5th grade Science Curriculum, published by the Ministry of National Education as a data source, was used.
