Turkey's public diplomacy practices in the 21st century; Bulgarian example

This study focused on "Turkey's Public Diplomacy Practices in the 21st Century: The Bulgarian Case" and analyzed the existing diversity between the two neighboring countries and potential development opportunities in the field of public diplomacy. Using a qualitative research method based on the views of the participants, the general situation of the relations between Turkey and Bulgaria is revealed. The study emphasized the strengthening of continuous dialogue and cooperation, the development of cultural events and exchange programs, the development of joint work in the health sector, the change of units of units, the support of communication between trade and business, and the deepening of military, economic and infrastructural cooperation beneficial for both countries. It was also stated that Turkey's public diplomacy efforts should be diversified and deepened in its relations with Bulgaria, with special emphasis on cultural diplomacy. It is possible that this approach may have the potential to lie ahead and help them counter the challenges that may be faced by both countries and internationally. The study continues by marking the importance of developing and changing public diplomacy practices between Turkey and Bulgaria with a mutual understanding and collaborative approach, as this strategy continues to differentiate both countries from each other.
