Abstract (EN)
The most important judicial body of the Ottoman Empire is Shariah courts. İn the books of such courts, there is valuable information about the legal, economic, religious, military and administrative institutions of State?s different eras. Paying no attention to which religion, language and nation public have, not only these documents include the events about the whole public, but also they include verdicts and administrative regulations about these events.This study is Shari'a Registry numbered 282, Hısn-ı Mansûr (Adıyaman) (H. 1315/1316 M.1898/1899). At the beginning of our study, we tried to explain the Ottoman legal system and shari?a registries, when they occurred, historical development, the importance of shari?a registries and Shari?a Registry numbered 282 Adıyaman with its main lines.In the 114 documents of the study, there are issues such as assault, wounding, theft, destruction of agricultural products and trespass. It handles how such cases are taken to the court and how the courts have decided.
