Abstract (EN)

The Edirne second capital of the Ottoman State, has been an important habitand center in the course of history. Kadı institution was significant multifaced foundation of the Ottoman cities, especially of the judicial mechanism. İnstend, kadı was used to perform the important varius duties such as judiciory, administrative, municipalify and notary. Kadı records are creating the first-hand written sources differently studies, especially social hirtory. The Edirne sharia record includes the years between 1825-1827, which the ıssue of our study, consist of subjects that mosty including the daily life of the Ottoman peoples. The notebook contains of ıssues such as the renton and sale of property, receivables, divorce, alimony, marriage, murder, theft, injury, rape, expulsion from the neighborhood, confiscation, conversion, slave, inheritance, pay service, discovery death, rental foundation, disagreement of tradesmen, exploration and trial insult. The first source of research is the numbered 341 Edirne sharia record and varius book and articles related to the study.
