Abstract (EN)

In this study, hydrazone derivative with various application areas in the fields of chemistry, medicine, and technology have been successfully synthesized. The molecular and crystal structure of 4-bromo-2[(E)-(2-phenylhydrazinylidene)methyl] phenol crystal was determined using X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Diffraction data for structure analysis were obtained using the Bruker Smart Breeze model diffractometer. Multi-scan absorption correction was applied to the obtained diffraction data. For our structure, we used the SHELXS-2018 program to solve it using direct methods and then purified it using the least squares method with the SHELXL-2019 program. The placement of the molecular structure in the unit cell, the interactions of the molecules with each other and the hydrogen bonds formed in the molecule were analyzed using the PLATON program. Finally, molecular structures and shapes were drawn using the ORTEP-III program.
