Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, benzofuran and coumarin derivatives of the 1,2,4-triazole compounds were synthesized. The structures of the synthesized compounds were analyzed using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR. Molecular geometric optimizations of the compounds were obtained using the DFT(B3LYP) method with the 6-311 G(d,p) basis set. Experimental spectral investigations were analyzed using by FT-IR and 1H/13C-NMR techniques. Geometric structure analyses (bond angles, bond lengths), Proton/Carbon NMR chemical shifts, thermodynamic parameters, HOMO-LUMO analyses, electronic properties, Mulliken charges, and the total energy of the main molecule were calculated using the "Gaussian 09W" package program. The results were visualized in the GaussView 5.0 program. The effects of the synthesized compounds on HT-29 and HCT-116 colon cancer cells and MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer cells were investigated using the MTT method. Among the synthesized compounds, compound 3 was found to be the most active against HCT-116 colon cancer cells, and compound 1 was determined to be the most active against MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer cells.
