Doç. Dr. Süleyman ÖZBEK With this notebook studying we have examined the period between hegira 1265- 1268/the gregorian calendar 1848-1851 years vith the number 576 Karahisâr-ı Sâhib register. Shari'a registers have great importance in investigation of a city's history. When we investigate a city's social, cultural, and economic characteristics. We can reach healthu knowledge easily. At the last years, the number of the studyings about city histories has been increased. There has been different examples of documents in the notebook. The fixed price records, heritages, commodities, money-price relations, the militaristic, subjects land disagreements some of the examples we can remember easily. We can see that the prices of commodities have been changed and increased continuowly. So, we can say that there was on inflation problem at that time. The administrative and physical structures of the Karahisâr-ı Sâhib Sanjak, county and village names had been found very important factors as geographical places. This notebook has important knowledge and documents about the last century history of Afyonkarahissar. Also this notebook can be a reference source for the next studyings about Afyonkarahissar history.
