In this research, it has been aimed to identify the relationship between the attachment levels of children of 6-12 years and the parents' anxiety levels. The population of the research consists of children who are between 6-12 years of age and study at elementary and primary school. An information note was sent to the parents of the students and got their permission before the research. Then, the parents were asked to fill the Demographical Information Form which was developed by the researcher and the Spielberger State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). The students filled the Kern's Security Scale (KSS) of parents form. The data obtained from the given information form and the inventories were statistically analysed with the package programme SPSS 21. When examining the results of the study, there wasn't found a meaningful relationship between the parents' State and Trait Anxiety levels and the children's Secure Attachment levels. However it was found a positive and high level of relation between the parents' State and Trait Anxiety levels. Key words: 6-12 Age, Attachment, Anxiety
