Evaluation of learning strategies of 6th grade students in social studies course (Ağri provincial sample)

In this study, the aim of this course is to examine the attitudes of the students, who are being educated in Ağrı province at 6th towards the learning strategies they use in social studies course. In line with the aim of the study, this is a descriptive survey of quantitative research and the study was conducted at Ağrı province in 2017-2018 academic year 6th class students 453 students have been selected with the maximum diversity method, one of the methods of sampling for the purpose of the class, constitute the sample of the research. The data, in accordance with the research done in the field of literature, are in accordance with the purpose of the research "6.learning strategies in social studies. The scale consists of 27 items and 4 dimensions. Data obtained from the study were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 package program. T - test and one-way variance analysis (Anova) was used in the analysis of data. According to this study; gender, in the situation of having a separate room for home study, mother and father educational level, father's age, family monthly income and the number of individuals in the family with the attitude of learning was no significant difference between variables regarding the strategy; the status of going to the study center, maternal age and with variables it is found that learning has a significant difference between the attitude of regarding the strategy.
