Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to demonstrate the skills of solving mathematical problematic problems in the 8th grade students who have visual, symbolic and algebraic representatives related to Pythagorean relation. After doing this, 102 students in 8th grades of different grade middle school were applied achievement test consisting of open-ended questions. The topic of this article is a direct link to the topic. According to the findings of the study, planning is more successful in visual visual representations than verbal and symbolic representations. They're also having big problems switching from one day to the next.
