Eş-Şerif en-Nesâbe'nin (ö. 866/1462) "el-Levâmiu'l-Bedriyye fi İmâmeti'ş-Şâfiiyye" adlı eserinin tahkik ve incelemesi

This manuscript is one of the important sources in Shafi'i jurisprudence, as it deals with the issues of imamate, prayer, and imitation in great detail, which is rarely collected in a single author. Its importance lies in highlighting the approach of Shafi'i scholars in defining the conditions of the imam, and in addressing controversial issues with a coherent jurisprudential vision. Its issues are arranged in a way that shows the gradation of conditions between what is agreed upon, what is disputed, and what relates to virtues. This investigation revives a rare jurisprudential text and presents it to researchers and those interested in the jurisprudential heritage in a documented and systematic manner, enhancing the applied understanding of the rulings of the Imamate in the madhhab. The researcher faced a number of challenges, most notably the difficulty of reading some parts due to damage or ambiguity in the written copies, and the differences in narratives between copies, which required a scientific effort in comparison and scrutiny to reach the formula closest to the correct one. In realizing this manuscript, the researcher relied on a precise scientific methodology, starting with studying the condition of the written copies in terms of their control and integrity, then adjusting and correcting the text according to the principles adopted in the science of investigation. Meanwhile, the researcher compared its words with what was mentioned in the approved Shafi'i jurisprudential sources, committed to grading hadiths and verses, documenting statements, and explaining strange phrases. The research concluded that this manuscript is considered one of the precious heritage works in Shafi'i jurisprudence, as it contains a rare collection of the rulings of imamah and imitation, coupled with a precise scientific arrangement and a clear teaching method. The investigation highlighted the value of this text in preserving part of the jurisprudence of advanced scholars and its contribution to documenting the jurisprudential branches related to prayer, which makes it an important addition to the jurisprudential library and a resource that can be utilized in education, authentication, and scientific research.
