Abstract (EN)
Abdullah Harmancı is one of the important names of the Contemporary Turkish story. He still continues his writing studies, which started in high school years. Harmancı, who preferred the story knowingly and willingly, persevered this genre. Besides being an academician, he is known for his storytelling. In this study, the stories of Abdullah Harmancı in six story books were examined and determinations were made on the storytelling of the author based on these studies. Harmancı, who has a unique style, is seen to turn to different storytelling styles in terms of formal and technical dimensions. He has a storytelling style that does not insist on one way.In the first part of our two part study, information about the author's life, literally personality and works is given. In the second part, the author's storytelling, his place in modern Turkish literature and his thoughts on the story were conveyed, and the stories in the story books named Muhteris, Ertesi Dünya, Yerlere Göklere, Seni Ne İhtiyarlattı, Melek Kayıtları, Behçet Bey Neden Gülümsedi were examined in detail in terms of form and content. In the conclusion section, the findings based on the examination were evaluated.
