Abstract (EN)
Cinema, which is one of the important carriers of secondary oral culture, has started to benefit from the field of folklore, as in every other field, after completing its development. Folklore was initially interested in the transmission of oral and written cultural products, and later it included the production and performance of secondary oral culture products in its field of research. Cinema, especially as a culture carrier, has contributed greatly to folklore research in visual and auditory terms and has enabled folklore products to be transmitted and kept alive from generation to generation. In the research, folkloric elements in the films starring Adile Naşit, who is considered the toned-down mother type of Turkish cinema, were identified and examined. The study consists of three parts, and in the first part, the historical development of Turkish cinema; In the second part, Adile Naşit's theater and cinema life; In the third chapter, folkloric elements in the films are mentioned.
