The investigation of benthic diatoms and some limnolojical parameters of Eğriçay in Adıyaman

Benthic diatoms and limnological parameters of Adıyaman Eğriçay were investigated between May 2014 and April 2015. In the study, epilithic and epipelic samples were examined at per month from choosen four station. A total of 106 taxa belonging to 32 genera were identified in Egriçay diatom flora. Generally, Cymbella, Nitzschia, Gomphonema and Navicula were found the most dominant genera in all flora. The temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, total solids, salinity, ammonium nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, chloride and turbidity values of the stream were examined. Generally, seasonal changes all of the diatom floras have increased in the last spring and early summer and decreased in the last winter and last summer.
