A study on determination of recreational landscape potential for tourism of Adiyaman and near environment

This study is aimed to determine tourism and recreation potential in Adıyaman province and its vicinity. Within the scope of the study, a database was created by extracting the natural and cultural landscape inventory of the area. In order to be able to reveal the current tourism and recreation potential, the infrastructure of tourism areas and regional problems and tourism opportunities are examined. Within the scope of the research, a questionnaire study was conducted in order to determine the problems, current uses and potential uses of the study area and to develop suggestions. As a result of the study, natural, cultural and historical values in Adıyaman province and its vicinity were classified in the light of the data obtained; in order to ensure the active use of these resources, the aim and the tourism plan have been obtained and the tourism route has been established and the solution proposal for the problems of the area has been presented.
