In order to determine the severity and stage of the disease, clinical indices, especially PPD and CAL, were examined. Results: It was determined that the mean age of the patients participating in our study was 31.66 ± 13.59 years and the highest rate was between the ages of 14-24 (41.1%). In the demographic data, it was seen that the majority of the patients (35.6%) were high school graduates and it was determined that the rate of smokers less than 10 cigarettes a day was high (87.4%). The rate of smoking was found to be the highest (88.4%) in Stage 1 and the lowest (67.6%) in Stage 4.In addition, the most common systemic diseases are Hypertension (3.2%) and Diabetes (2.8%). Conclusion:Prevalence studies are expect to have a large scale and a high sample volume. However, in cases where opportunities are limited, small-scale and regional studies also gain importance. In this epidemiological study; Firstly, that the prevalence of periodontitis in our region is quite high (34.6%), secondly, the staging rates of periodontal diseases updated in 2018 for the first time in our country (Stage 1 19.7%, Stage 2 44.0, Stage 3 26.6%, Stage 4 9.7%) ) and thirdly, the prevalence rate (0.1%) of Necrotizing periodontal diseases, which has not been performed in our country until today, was determined.
