Şeriyye Records are also among the most significant reference guides for Ottoman History studies. Especially the records on social and economic topics offer us both detailed and comparable knowledge. The evkaf records of three İstanbul courts are of especially of great importance for being the records of an early-period specialized courts's records. The record notebook below, which covers the dates of Ahi Çelebi Evkaf court with number 6, between the dates 961/1553-1039/1630, has numerous papers on various subjects such as border disagreements, announcements, hujjats, place identifications, repairment issues, the succession of organization duties. Besides, there are several interesting points in the record jotebook such as the jobs of the non-muslim-somehow afflicted with foundations- applicants of the court, the residents or houses that were dealt with during the cases, the name of the palces and units of measurement. Some cases as mentioned above are also transcribed in the thesis.
