Analysis and evaluation of Ahmed Ziyâuddîn Gümüşhânevî's Devâü'l-Müslimîn

Ahmed Ziyâeddîn Gümüşhânevî, XVIII. since the century, he has been one of the most mentioned sufis in the Anatolian geography, and he pioneered the formation of the Ziyaiyye branch within the Halidî branch to which he belonged. As a matter of fact, because he is a versatile sufi, his conversation circles have expanded and his disciples have increased in a short time. Gümüşhanevi, who has copyrighted many works in various fields, has left deep traces on the society in which he lived and continues to leave them. As a matter of fact, he strictly adhered to the appearance of Sharia and wrote his works in this way. In Devaul-Muslim, which is one of those works and constitutes the subject of our study, he explained the subject of sin, the ways of salvation and the issues that should be taken into consideration on this path in detail. In our study, this work, which is the product of Gümüşhanevi's terse style and selfless effort, has been meticulously analyzed and analyzed. In our research consisting of introduction, two chapters and conclusion, information was given about our author, the concept of sin was explained in detail, and the information in the content of the work was analyzed in the light of verses and hadiths. While this study was being conducted, the procedures and principles that the work reflects on Sufi morality were revealed by taking into account the period in which the work was written and the current scientific accumulation.
