Factors affecting institutionalization in family owned businesses: The case of Diyarbakir city

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting institutionalization in family owned businesses. There are five sections in the study. Firstly, in the introduction section, acquired information is introduced for the first impression of the subject. The first section includes titles such as situation of the problem, purpose, importance, assumptions and limitations of the research. In the second section, there are topics such as concept of family owned business, establishment and development of family owned businesses, superior and weak aspects of family owned businesses, institutionalization in general, definition of institutionalization, elements of organizational institutionalization, indicators of institutionalization, approaches of organizational institutionalization, institutionalization purposes of business, process of institutionalization, properties of institutionalized businesses and related researches. The titles such as model, pattern, universe and sample which were used in this research, the validity and reliability, data collection tools, demographic properties of people who answered the interview form and demographic properties of businesses which answered the interview form and analysis of data were included in the third section of the study. There are titles such as frequencies of the research factors and evaluation of the research data and interpretation in the fourth section.
