Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of submerged underwater structures with full circular and semicircular cross-sections placed in the mouth of a curved stream in the cross-section direction were investigated. The effects of wave and river flow on the structure were investigated by determining the velocity and pressure distributions around the underwater structure. The maximum effects on the upstream and downstream side of the building were determined. Computational fluid dynamics program was used to model the event. The verification of the program was made with speed and level measurements in the created physical channel.
