Abstract (EN)

Variable character of leachate, due to the complex structure and high pollutant content is very high potential to pollute the environmental media. The amount of the leachategeneral varies depending on the ratio of rain falling on the storage areaand in waste of the humidity. Leachate characteristics varies depending on besides the nature of the solid waste is stored in, high organic and nitrogenous substances contained in,heavy metals, organic and inorganic salts. Characterization of the leachate is important for age of landfill area and consequently treatment plant is operated by the functionality. In this study, course from Aksaray in a sanitary landfill leachate samples are taken monthly periods and each examples pH, temperature, COD, BOD, TSS, total alkalinity, THA, TOC, TN, total hardness, orthophosphate-phosphorus, total phosphorus and heavy metals such as the parameters were analyzed for characterization. According to the analysis of landfill, field of the leachate "young" age was found to have. The characterization studies, the concentration of COD 8365-44000 mg/L, BOD concentration 5500-30000 mg/L, the concentration of THA in the 630-1940 mg/L were. During the assessment of the characterization, leachate subjected to different amps value of electrochemical treatment and up to 75% COD removal was obtained.
