Abstract (EN)

Modernity, which is one of the main problems of sociology and central problems of thought, attaches special importance to societies. Because modernity; is intertwined with today's lifestyle. It is central in every aspect of our modern life and in the thoughts of individuals. Therefore, modernity shapes and directs the daily life of individuals. Modernity, which is the brain of everyday life, also causes fragility of social conflicts and relations between people. Because in the course of time, the meaning of modernity and lifestyle are changing. Modernity, which is in transformation, changes and transforms everyday life to the same extent. Therefore, this study tries to analyze the criticisms towards understanding modernity with a perspective. Zygmunt Bauman's ideas are taken as reference in his explanation of modernity. The sociological process experienced between the solid-fluid periods of modernity is explained by the fluid modernity and Henri Lefebvre's conceptualization of everyday life. The perspective of the study explains how modernity has become fluid and its transition from strict modernity to fluid modernity on the basis of body, surveillance and social networks. It is discussed in a critical way how the body, which is a producer in daily life, has reached, how social networks have changed their communication habits, and how the security-freedom dichotomy is made sense. Keywords: Solid Modernity, Liquid Modernity, Daily Life, Body, Surveillance, Social Networks.
