Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of power resources of private hospital managers on work performance, job stress and intention to quit from an employee perspective. Therefore, the target population of the study consisted of 408 people working in various divisions of private hospitals in Adana province. In the data collection, a questionnaire was used to determine the participants' personal information, perceived power sources, job performances, job stress and intention to quit. The data obtained were analyzed by SPSS and LISREL programs. As a result of these analyzes, legitimate (legal) power, one of the leading power sources, has negatively significent effect in business performance; knowledge power positively significant in business performance; it was found that legal power and expertise power had a positive and significant effect on work stress. It was found that charismatic power, one of the leading power sources, negatively and significantly affected work stress, and reward power and knowledge power negatively and significantly affected the intention to quit.
