Abstract (EN)

One of the important factors affecting the lives of societies is their religious beliefs. People's religious beliefs have been influential in determining both the lives of individuals and the traditions, customs, cultural values, mentalities, and even economic formations of the society in which they live. Shariati, one of the prominent names in the field of sociology of religion, has developed a sociological perspective on the concepts of social class, racism and economic structure, and the interaction of religion. Shariati's mentality, which creates a perspective on the concepts of economic structure, social class, and racism by distinguishing between monotheistic and polytheistic religions, sheds light on the trajectory of our thesis topic. From this point of view, the meaning of social class and religion, racism and religion, economic, scientific, technological structure, and religious interactions in Shariati's evaluation of monotheistic and polytheistic religions constitute the subject of our thesis. The aim of the research is to reveal the sociological evaluations of Shariati on the concepts of social class, racism, and economic structure. In this thesis, the books written by Shariati himself and composed of his conferences; Master's theses, and articles on Shariati's world of thought were determined as literature sources. In this regard, the course of the study on the qualitative research method was formed. It is planned to evaluate the data compiled from the sources and have sociological meaning by using the discourse analysis technique. Particular care will be taken to present a thesis study that is free from ideological, religious, and political concerns and expectations by using purely scientific methods, avoiding expressions such as the religions and worships of the societies, and making judgments about them. Key words: social class, racism, economy, monotheistic religion, polytheism,
