The gteographical examination of the town Altıntaş (Kütahya)

The centrum of the town, Altıntaş, is located in the inner Western part ofAnatolia in the Aegeon Region.The series of Paleozik, Neojen and Kuaterner aresurfaced in the research area.The research area doesn?t contain much differentgeomorphological units.Its altitude above the sea level is 1025 m.Its research areashows continental climate.The history of research are has long past time.It was opened its gates tosettlement in 4000-3000 B.C.It came under the control of Turks during the SelçukluState of Turkey.The centrum of the town,Altıntaş,has low population and hasn?tdeveloped its population.The population is getting less day by day by immigrating toother cities.There are 5 quarters which forms the centrum of the town.The modern industry hasn?t developed much in the research area.Theemployment sector forms the most important economic active branch.Retail trade is themost important part in the area.There is just a highway in the research area .Improvingtourism and underground source in existence will revive the area.With this master thesis,we tried to explain the demographic and economicspecialities of Altıntaş and to show solutions to the problems of Altıntaş.
