Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between mental endurance and sportive self-confidence levels of amateur league soccer players. This study was designed with relational survey model which is one of the quantitative research methods. In the research, "Mental Endurance Scale" and "Sports Self-Confidence Scale" were used as data collection tools. The research data were collected from a total of 276 athletes operating in the amateur league in Elazığ province in the 2022-2023 season. Cronbach Alpha test was used to examine the reliability of the data obtained from the research. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between athletes' mental toughness and sportive self-confidence levels. In the research, the data were analyzed in SPSS 27 package program. When the results of the analysis were examined, significant differences were obtained between the mental toughness and sportive self-confidence levels of the athletes according to the participants' status of receiving infrastructure training, educational status, years of licensed sportsmanship and age variables. As a result, it can be said that mental endurance and sportive self-confidence feelings of amateur athletes increase as a result of receiving infrastructure training, higher education level, years of sportsmanship in the sport and increasing age.
